I have been wearing GEL-Nimbus for years and each incarnation is better than the last. This is my 8th pair. They have had better color combinations in the past, but for running you can't beat them. Plenty of room for toes and breath well in the summer.

I am a fan. I loved the nimbus eleven and twelves are just as good. Great for nearly flat footed persons because there is little arch and the asymmetric design is great for variable feet. No breaking in needed just hit the path!

I'm a big fan of Asics running shoes, and this one didn't disapoint me! I was a bit worried about the collors, but they work just fine! Great cushioning system!

I run the treadmill and had been using an old pair of Asics I bought 2 years ago. I suffered periodic shin splints and thought that was normal for running so much until I decided to run 6 miles with my husband on concrete! My shins killed me for days! My husband had been after me to buy a new pair of Asics but I didn't want to spend $129! Then I got on Amazon to buy something else and thought I would search for Asics and to my surprise I found the same pair my husbands wears (but for women that he paid $129, for $67! I bought them, ran in them and noticed A complete difference. If you are on the fence about these shoes buy them! They are worth every penny and the raspberry color is beautiful! Thanks honey!

I've done a couple gym workouts and one 3mile treadmill run and so far, I am in love. Amazing. Cushioning is phenomenal especially at the ball of your foot. Offset laces feel a little better to me since it relieves pressure off the top bony part of your foot. Support through the heel is great and my feet feel VERY stable like they would be good for cross-country running as well. Good support through the sides too since I slightly over-pronate on the left and over-supinate on the right. I have very difficult-to-fit problem feet and I am very happy with these shoes. Definitely worth the price.

Update- After running in these for over a year, I was forced to replace them with the Nimbus 14s. I've been disappointed in the changes. The 12s were perfect and the 14s just do not measure up. If I could find the 12s in my size anywhere, I'd buy out the store.

I love Asics shoes and bit the bullet to get the new Gel-Nimbus. Everything about the shoe is so comfortable and cushioned, but they changed the lacing to angle off toward the side. They say it is more natural, but the way the lace hits across the top of my big toes is very uncomfortable. I have to keep the shoe laced too loose so it won't rub my foot. It may be just my foot, but I don't like the new design.

I love these shoes! I continually buy ASICS...but deviated to the Nike RunFree shoe to see if I was missing out on something I had heard so much about. I wasn't. I'm VERY prone to blisters, and literally these are the only shoes that have never given me blisters when walking or jogging. Probably my 5th pair in the last several years. No question, I LOVE these shoes!

I supinate and require a neutral cushioned shoe. I started with the gel nimbus several years back. I loved the 10s, hated the 11s. Gel Nimubs seem to be back on track now with the 12s. These are great! Much improved. The 10s and 11s lasted only 300-350 miles for me, perhaps I will update later with how long the 12s last.

Purchased directly from Amazon for around $63.00.

Be forewarned: The Asics Gel Nimbus 12 runs narrow (but fits true to size lengthwise).

The quality looks good and they were clean (not a factory second and not a return/worn shoe. Yay). It's the first time I ordered shoes online and was worried I'd get some B-grade, store second. One of the gel pads on the side looks a bit rough, but I don't think that qualifies this for a B-grade shoe.

The item I ordered and received were size 8 Wide. However, they are still on the narrow side, especially when compared to the Asics Gel Kayano. I own a pair of Gel Kayano 16, size 8 Medium and this Gel Nimbus 12, size 8 Wide has the exact same footprint as the Kayano MEDIUM width.

So, end point: These realistically fit like a Medium Width.

P.S. The cushioning is fantastic! Cloud-like is how I'd describe it. I suppose that's why they're called the Gel Nimbus, haha. Since they were half the new, retail price (these are last year's model), I'll keep them.
