Although I am not a runner, I do a lot of walking and am on my feet for hours daily. The Asics Gel-Phoenix shoes were comfortable the first time I put them on. There was no break-in time and after several weeks, they are still just as comfortable. The fit is good for someone needing a medium width. The toe box is plenty wide enough to accomodate thicker socks. I will order them again.

Had purchased these running shoes mostly for the gym (treadmill/elliptical) since I needed a shoe with a wider toe box due to my toes being messed up years of high heels. They fit the bill perfectly and I have no pain issues in my feet when working out. I also decided to try to jog in them and to my surprise they were great, no pain at all. I just ordered my second pair today since I have begun to wear the first pair out. They last quite well too.

This is a solid running shoe with very good stability. I have a slightly high arch - and find these very comfortable. While they don't offer the latest greatest air tubes, etc. they don't need them -this is a good shoe for running (and walking). Fits true to size.

The first time I put these shoes on, I felt a huge difference. I am able to run further in greater comfort, and I owe it all to the support and quality of the shoes. THE BEST!!!

This is the exact same pair of running shoes---the Asics Womens' GEL Phoenix 2 Running shoes--that I ordered a year ago. They are comfortable with good support. This pair of Asics seems more snug in the toe box area than my old pair. Perhaps they are not broken in yet. Definitely a good product.
