I first bought these shoes at a retail store. It was a big committment as I was getting ready to return overseas and wouldn't be able to return them if needed. I was preparing to run my first half marathon also. These shoes are great. Since buying them I have run two half marathons and put on an additional 15 miles a week in the last six months. I still think my original shoes are still good for short runs but I am getting ready to buy my second pair on Amazon for my upcoming third half marathon. I should also make note that I am underpronate, meaning my feet do not roll inward when I run. Overall, I have definately gotten my monies worth from these shoes.

This shoe is great! Excellent comfort and cushioning!! I love to run and its a great feeling to know that your shoes are ready to run too..This is my 2nd pair of Asics Gel Pulse, but all my running shoes for the last 8 years have been, Asics!! If you are in doubt, don't be, you just found the shoe you have been looking for!

I stumbled across these in a sheer desperation shopping trip fornew running shoes, as I was breaking in my last pair of Nimbus 10 & the new "11" platform was not the same. The Nimbus was a big switch from the old GT2110's which fit my foot like a glove. (Wide forefoot, high arch, narrow heel,very neutral running style. The salesperson brought them over just hoping & it felt just like the old GT's, perfect fit, I didn't ave to get a wide, cushioned, flexible & LIGHT! I needed zero break in time in the gym before hitting the pavement for a few miles! The Gel-PulseII, is NOT the same, the platform has been tweaked, adding light stability features, not as much cushioning & a little bit heavier. They feel like the 1100 series if that's your shoe. I absolutely love these shoes. I bought the black and pink pair. I was a little iffy at first because I have never worn asics or black shoes. They are really cute! The shoe is extremely light and comfortable. I love running in them!

I love my shoes! Fits comfortably around the sock line and has enough room for my toes to wiggle around. Just enough cushion to it where you don't feel like you're wearing platforms. LOL. I used to have a gel landreth II and the one that came out after that never felt the same, or as comfortable...felt big and bulky, but this shoe is great...light and give you just enough bounce.

I got these shoes for Christmas last year and I have been nothing but impressed by them. I work as a floor nurse and needed some good shoes that were comfortable and gave me good support. I love these specific ones because they are a good color that goes with pretty much everything. I had bought a pair of running shoes for $140 dollars and I ended up wearing these to run in as well as to work because these shoes were way more comfortable and lighter than my name brand running shoes that I paid an arm and a leg for. I wore these to train and run 2 half marathons, wearing them to work each shift as well. They wash and clean up well. Everytime I put them in the wash they come out looking new, which is nice because white shoes are not always the best to buy. Mine are wearing down and I will for sure by this exact same pair again. I don't dare try anything else because I have been so happy with these shoes.

Almost always buy Asics - good vendor for volleyball shoes. Purchased this for my treadmill. Little looser fit compared to previous Asics purchases, but other than that no complaints.

These shoes are great! I'm an avid runner and have had the 2000 series for past...hmm...15 years! I'd swear by these shoes for people to over pronate. Recently, I ran across the gel-pulse and decided to try them since they are for people who over pronate as well. To be honest, I bought them for the color! ;) Anyway-- I have nothing but good things to say. The fit is similar to the 2000 series, but I feel a little more stable when I'm running. It feels like my foot is pushing off more even than outside. I would suggest anyone who over pronates to try these if they're looking for something better. I've only put about 20 miles on these hogs, so I'll be able to review better after a good 20 more miles. So far: no knee pain, foot pain, back pain, etc.

I have worn Asics running shoes for as long as I remember. I don't log a lot of miles, but I do enjoy running regularly. I always look forward to getting a new pair of shoes. It always seems to make me run faster. This pair was no different in that respect, but the thing that disappointed me is that they are not as comfortable as I expected. When I put on a new pair of shoes, I expect to feel...ahhhhh, but these shoes just felt..OK.

GIFT FOR DAUGHTER...SHE JUST REALLY LIKES THIS SHOE..SAYS THE FIT IS GREAT AND THEY FEEL WONDERFUL.
