I am new to running, and started off just wearing a pair of Asics running shoes (Gel Maverick 3) I had in the house. After running my first 5K in them and having no issues, I tried many other brands of running shoes (New Balance, Ryka, Nike, etc.). None of those brands have come close to the comfort I feel wearing Asics. With those other brands, some issue always kept cropping up with my right foot--either I got blisters in all different spots, or all of a sudden I would have knee issues. . .when I returned to my Asics, I didn't have any of these problems. Knowing that, I went out and bought the Gel Turbulent, and I have not been disappointed in the least. I wore these for a longer run (10 miles) right out of the box, and had absolutely no issues. They are comfortable and provide great cushioning. Indeed, when I tried these on in the store, my feet felt right "at home" in them.

I'm sure that other runners have their favorite shoes that fit the specific needs of their feet and biomechanics, but for me (I overpronate on my right foot only), Asics are the only brand that have me running comfortably all the time, and the Gel Turbulents are a nice, comfy addition to my running shoe collection.

Asics work well for my feet and their support seems to last longer than other brands I have tried. The ease of finding my size on Amazon and at a very good price, makes it even better.

This is my favorite shoe for running! I cannot find this make/model in the stores any more. I was happy to find it on Amazon and the price was much cheaper than in the stores.

I've been wearing Nike athletic shoes for the past few years and wanted a change. I love these! They fit well and are light in the heel. I wear a 8.5 and the shoes are true to their size. Great for use at the gym and running!
