I didn't need new running shoes; my other plain Jane Asics were hanging in there pretty well and still had some miles left on them. I'm not even a flashy kind of girl. So, I can't tell you exactly WHY I randomly decided to get these shoes, I just know that I'm SO GLAD that I did.

I run moderately on a regular basis. Approximately 20 miles or so per week. I'm not particularly the best runner out there, not by a long shot. I consider myself on the slow end of average and I'm constantly having to pay attention to my form and stride and make corrections. I've tried multiple different running shoes over the past few years - different brands and models in different sizes. But none have instantly made me feel like I'm running differently like these did. And I didn't have that awkward first week of "break in" runs.

I normally wear a 7.5 dress flat and went for an 8 with these and they fir perfectly. However, I find that going up a half size helps limit my blisters. I don't normally go up half a size for a fashion shoe.

Also, I get compliments on them EVERYWHERE I go - from women AND men! Ladies, when's the last time a guy has noticed your shoes unless you were in 6" spike heels? I was worried when I bought them impulsively that maybe they were a little too juvenile or cutesy for my taste, but I love them.

They liven up my running gear, throw a little extra fun into running, and most of all, they're super comfortable and help my step immensely. I shaved 45 seconds off each of my 5 miles on my first run in them! Maybe they just made me feel a little more saucy than usually, but who cares?! I'll take the improvement any way I can get it.

I am not a runner. I am not a fashionista. I am a nurse. I am on my feet over 12 hours a day and that is just work. I have spent thousands of dollars on my work shoes over my 39 year career, with varying degrees of success.
I had never heard of ASICS before ordering these shoes. I was looking for a lightweight but supportive shoe that would not kill my feet after a couple hours. And I won't lie, I loved the multi-color accent against the black.
The minute I slipped these on my feet, my toes wriggled in ecstasy. The first shift I worked in them. I took an older pair of shoes to change off to. At the end of shift I was still wearing my ASICS, and I was not limping or favoring any part of my foot. I was tired, my feet were not.
Now, the shoes run narrow and small. In most shoes I am a solid ten with wide feet. These shoes should not fit me. But, I read some reviews, took the advice and ordered an eleven.Fit made in shoe heaven. The black mesh breathes. No more sweaty disgusting feet. They are medium expensive(at least for my budget), but I figured my feet, especially my 50-something feet are worth every penny.

Listen to other reviewers: this shoe runs small. I normally wear an 11 in asics (and all other shoes for that matter). I had to order a size up and my toes are still almost at the end. Also, if your foot runs on the wider side of normal, get a bigger size. They were a bit stiff after I first put them on, but after about 30mins of wearing them, they started to feel better. The shoe looks GREAT on. It reminds me of superman ice cream :) Also, it's primarily mesh, so if you have to work around fluids (chemicals, health care, etc.) or in the weather, I'd give these a miss.

I read other reviews and saw that these shoes run small, so I ordered half a size bigger than usual. They fit great!!! I can't go anywhere without getting complements on them :)

I love the look of these new shoes but cant get past how narrow they are! I wear a 9 and would have "at least" gone up a half size. I had to loosen all the laces just to get my foot into it!! I have a wide foot so if you do too, def go up in size. will keep.

I just got these shoes today, and they are super light and comfortable. I ordered a half size larger and they fit perfectly. The bright colors are fun and inspire me to run more!

I love my asics, been wearing gel nimbus for years. Decided to try this shoe, they do run 1/2 size smaller than your average asics. I had to order my size. I ran a mile in these and they were not very comfortable, even apart from the "breaking in" stage. I have narrow feet, they were clunky and stiff, not alot of support or cushion. The heel backs come up WAY higher than my other asics, and it causes a sock war. I HATE it when shoes rub my socks down and these shoes will do it every time. They come up very high on your ankle. It's also extremely annoying that the tongue curls under on each side, you can't just slip this shoe on, you have to completely loosen all the way down to get the tongue to lay flat. Never had that problem with running shoes before. Overall these shoes and stiff and bulky and I wouldn't recommend. I am returning to my gel nimbus. Bummed because they are super cute, which is why it gets two stars.

My husband gave these to me for Christmas and they are great. Good comfort and lots of support. Good shoe for warmer months or indoor running as they are mesh and very breathable.

As a runner, I am always game to find a new mor comfortable sneaker and this is my new find. My podiatrist has always told me to stay away from Nike and move to Ascis. He is a runner as well and as a podiatrist, I should have taken his advice right away, but it took me awhile to move away from Nike. I finally bit the bullet and bought these and I am kicking myself for taking so long. First, the colors are outstanding and I get many compliments. MOre importantly, the comfort level is high especially with the gel component. I thought I would have to break them in but no, I ran 6 miles my first time out with no pain... its like running on a mattress. I am a new Ascis customer for sure. Please note that for most sneakers, I always buy a half size bigger and this is not exception. for ultimate comfort. While Nike is the most popular brands with the super star endorsements, if you are a runner, these would be your best bet....i mean, look at this shoe, original for sure.
