The tracks arent great. The singers are ok -- but this album only has 12 songs from the show, I've heard better.

Grease the Musical on Karaoke by All Star Karaoke, June 28, 2007

Finally, all the songs from the musical on one disc and from what I can tell of the new version of Grease opening on Broadway soon, all the songs from that version as well. Each song has two tracks, one with a lead vocalist and one track without aka the karaoke version. The lead vocalists are pretty good. Not ONJ or John Travolta, but pretty close. The back up music and chorus are first-rate. With this one disc you could pretty much re-create the entire show minus some of the lesser songs.
Also this company All Star Karaoke has made this disc playable on a computer. Don't know how, but I loaded it onto my PC and it copied the tracks and played them all in WMA. I have a great computer sound system so this was a fun experience. So in effect there are 48 tracks, 24 for the computer and 24 for my cdg karaoke player. And the words come up on both my TV and TV monitor.
All in all this disc is a great value and the price is right.
