Light cost a fifth of the GE version of the same lamp. It turned on fine. Burned up in about 15 seconds. Just save your money for the real thing. Too much of a hassle to return and replace.

Was amazed these bulbs were 1/3 the cost of GE or Phillips ones at Lowes, so I decided to risk ordering a 'no review' item from an unknown brand:

PRO: Well packaged. Cardboard box with inner cardboard sleeve to hold it steady, tightly wrapped in a layer of bubble wrap with UPC code sticker on outside (ie. factory bubble-wrapped, not Amazon warehouse staff wrapped.)

CON: Square bulb base that fits into the socket is molded approximately 1/8" too large, so it doesn't fit into a standard 2D socket. Also missing the groove for the alignment pin at the back of the socket to slide up into. After wasting a half-hour carefully shaving the edges of the lamp socket larger and trimming the alignment tab to allow this bulb to fit, it finally seated down onto the 4-power pins and clicked onto the latching tabs...but then of course proved to be defective out of the box.

SUMMARY: Cheaply made, improperly molded, defective piece of junk. Not even worth the cost of return shipping to request a replacement. Complete waste of 5 bucks...I should have known better! :-(
