This is a must have book for Dog owners and lovers everywhere. The chapters contains helpful information from Basic Care to First Aid. If you don't have this book you have got to buy it.

Even though its and old book and a lot of the information can be found online I liked having it all in one place. For First time dog owners it gives a good overall view of keeping your dog healthy.

It is great but better for purebreed owners that's why it's four stars.but otherwise it's great for everything youneed to know!:)

I found this book at our local library when we adopted our latest dog, a Pomeranian/Long Haired Chihuahua named "Brandy"; -with an attitude twice her size!! Found it super informative on all aspects of raissing a dog; what to look for when they are sick etc. After reading it over, decided to buy a copy to have as a reference guide. Would recommend this book to all dog owners, as a excellent overall guide for all dogs, regardless of size etc.
