Will have to dump this configuration.

I don't overclock, undervolt, or really mess with what works.

Pro's: lots of expansion for an MATX board.

I used this board with this APU http://www.amazon.com/AMD-A4-3400-Graphics-Quad-Core-Processor/dp/B006DLP7BM/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top
I chose this board because it has the inputs / outputs that I needed and it was cheap. It is a solid Micro ATX board that is perfect if you are looking to make a small computer for everyday use or a home theater PC (HTPC).
A few things to point out:
- There is no DVI slot. To some people this may be a deal breaker. I use the HDMI slot and it works great, you can also buy an adapter for HDMI to DVI if you really like this board.
- There are only two RAM slots. Again know your needs and make sure two is enough.
- There is no ribbon cable inputs, yes I know most boards don't have them anymore and there is no need, but some people might not think about it.
- Notice in the picture right behind the VGA output the motherboard takes an eight pin power connector. This was the weirdest part of the motherboard. I had never used this before. I had two power supplies but neither had the eight pin power, so I had to go buy a new one which I found cheap but just a heads up.
I've been using this board for my HTPC and various everyday things like internet usage and word processing and it all works fine. If you are looking for a cheap motherboard that works and is small this is a good choice.

I built my HTPC using a cheaper Asrock motherboard, but returned it and bought this instead. The Asrock was terrible with a confusing BIOS and could not connect to my gigabit router.

This Asus has a clean BIOS with USB 3 and gigabit ethernet and it's rock solid. I only restart my computer when Windows updates itself. With Windows Media Center, I have wonderful DVR with no monthly fees.

I used this in an A4 build that sits in my living room as an HTPC. I don't overclock, undervolt, or really mess with what works.
I started picking up ASRock motherboards a few years ago when Gigabyte or Asus models turned out to be either over my budget or unavailable. After several builds I've yet to be disappointed.

Using this with an a6-3500. works grat for an htpc.

Its is really nice that it comes with a EUFI Bios and you can sent it to start with a usb device.

That means if your using a keyboard with touchpad or a remote with a usb receiver, you can turn on the pc by pushing a key without having to get up!!! very nice feature!!

description lists that it supports usb3 and sata 3, this is incorrect. it does not support these two standards.
