I purchased this laptop for school, and it has performed wonderfully. Everything works, is super fast and can handle the toughest 3d modeling programing that I can throw at it. It has a cool finish and a lot of great features. The only thing that I changed was repartitioning the hdd's. The only downside is that the Eee stick, controllers, and games were not included with it. Besides this, I highly recommend this laptop for anyone who needs high graphics capability.

Great laptop runs everything very smooth...sleek design and great features....it does get pretty hot and blows hot air out the vent on the right...other than that great laptop and a very good desktop replacement...great value for the $$$$$

Don't get me wrong, this is an excellent gaming laptop, but compared to the newer G51J-A1 this one is left in the dust.

While this laptop comes with some great accessories, when it comes to performance, the Core 2 Q9000 processor in this laptop can't keep up with the newer Core i7-720QM that's in the G51J. The Core i7-720QM sports 4 cores, but also supports hyperthreading - essentially giving you the performance of 8 cores.

For the price, the G51J is definitely worth looking at first if you are considering this laptop.

This little monster is a great computer. Does everything i need it to do with no problem. Plus the Nvidia card is awesome so i can use it for my graphic apps plus the quad core rocks. Not only that but i compared the prices to a few other online build it yourself sites and alien and nothing comes close to the price and warranty saved [...] bucks in price comparison XD

The design of the laptop is beyond superiority(especially the back of Lcd besel is eye cathcing). The specs are much more than superb and the graphic card(GTX 260M-no need to say anything) is a first class graphic card with the full hd 1080p resolution that gives me the chance to play the latest 3D games with the best graphic options. My first Quad processor experience with this laptop gives me the feeling that I was wasting my time with the Core 2 Duo processors. The only thing which is just satisfactory is the 4GB ram. I would expect it to be at least 6GB with this perfect laptop. Anyway Asus is my favorite laptop now and I would suggest this laptop to anyone with its very reasonable price...
