I bought this for a custom build in a custom case. The daughterboard might be a concern if you have a *very* small case height-wise, so you'll want to make sure you have the clearance. I'm running Linux on my build, so most of their features I'm not using, however: from a purely hardware-perspective the thing is rock-solid. I have a 160W Pico PSU powering it and have had zero stability problems. Be sure to keep an eye on bios updates for this, though as there is at least one issue where disabling bluetooth in the bios doesn't actually 'disable' it.

PROS: Everything! well except whats written below

mediocre: included sata cables..could have used 2 more of the black angled sata cables that works great with itx cases rather than the generic red sata cables

CONS: ASUS installation disc has a lot of bloatware that hides itself among the legit drivers/utilities..and if you choose to download the software from their site itself, you are forced to install another bloatware/download accelerator before you can download.

EDIT: you can now download drivers directly from asus website without having to download their download accelerator.

I purchased this to go into a portable gaming rig (Bitfenix Prodigy case). Asus has managed to pack quite a bit onto this extremely small form factor. Most importantly, the CPU socket is set more or less in the center of the board, rather than right up against the PCI-E slot, meaning this board can fit some of the largest aftermarket coolers, including the Noctua NH-D14 and the Phanteks PC-TH14 series. HOWEVER, to use these large coolers, you will need to be careful with your RAM selection. Pick one with a low profile heat spreader, and you will not have any problems.

I bought this for my first computer build and it worked great.
The only con that I've found is that the case audio header is right next to the pcie slot, so if you have a dual slot graphics card (like I do) you can't use the front panel audio connectors. But all in all a great buy, especially for the built in wifi and bluetooth.

I got this mb on April, and just after 4 months the mb died, no POST, indicator light all normal, fan spin, and that's it.
I send the board to ASUS RMA center, bubble wrapped whole board, card board, canadapost express mail, and ASUS told me several pins bend.
They asked me 140 dollar (+I spend 30 on mailing it back), which almost the price of buying a new one.
And when I gently asked for the detail of the board, and all I got is "the mb won't boot, nothing else I can provide to you"
They refuse to do ANY test on the mb, and that is the part that I feel really uncomfortable.
At last I have to pay for the replacement, and ASUS can laugh me off from now on.
I guess it's just a "coincidence" the pins on my mb bend, and I share a degree of hatred towards ASUS RMA team.
Next time I will do APS, and ignore all the BS ASUS give me.

I was building a low heat compact system to replace my much older loud gaming PC. this mobo paired with a i7-3770k with the stock fan is perfectly silent and crushes any game i can throw at it! the auto-overclocking feature on this motherboard is quit nice if not a little timid... but it will do the job perfectly if you let it!
only two DIMMS might have been a challenge, but thankfully I installed some 8GB Crucial Ballisitx DIMMs to meet my memory needs.
the bluetooth is a little wonky. it was having issues connecting to my 2.1 bluetooth headphones and i ended up disabling the built in adapter and plugging in the previous USB nub I was using.
other than that, this motherboard is perfect!
the first one o received was DOA, but Amazon sped a replacement out to me in no time.

Asus always deliver, this Mini ITX board is in a small case with i5 Ivy Bridge running Win7 Pro and has an SSD and 2 X 2.5" drives for data inside, it's a powerful, quiet, low-power usage unit that is easily moved around. I like that Wi-i & Bluetooth are on the MB too, just get some better antenna - the supplied ones are a fiddle. I don't need to overclock, but this board will do all that if you want.

I first bought the ASrock version of this board but it arrived defective so I returned it and bought this. I'm not using any of the fancy features of this board such as overclocking so I can't speak to that. However the breadth of ports and features available on such a small board is impressive.
This board loses a star because the WiFi module it arrived with was total crap. Even with both the included antennae attached and mounted I barely got connection. And the antennae look dorky anyway. So I just bought a tiny Edimax USB WiFi adapter and that works fine.
