The keyboard was working great for about a week than when i turned it on i noticed smoke and a greenish flame coming out from the lower left connection of the tablet and keyboard. Now when i try to connect them it will smoke and shut down the tablet. I will be returning it today to hopefully exchange them both. It really was a great combination so i hope the next pair wont have the same defect.

The Mobile Dock looks and feels like it should. The keyboard and touch pad feel fluid. Having the Mobile Dock charge the Transformer's battery is convenient. Although, I wish it came with its own power cord. The USB port and SD reader are nice features to have. There are countless USB devices out there and many of them are compatible with the Transformer. This product may seem expensive, but it's worth buying in my opinion. I recommend buying a Mobile Dock if you own any of the Transformers.

The keyboard works as it should. There isn't much to say about that. There is the tipping backwards can be an issue. For me, I leave the leather case attached and fold it backwards add some support. Others have placed an object behind the screen, that works too. I would highly recommend you get some help with the keyboard shortcuts. One important one is to disable the keypad touch if you do much typing. I kept getting the cursor to jump around on the documents. That gets annoying. I knocked one star off since there was no documentation for these strokes. Just the basic what the special keys do. Would have been nice to at least have a link to a web site to review the other key sequences. Oh and one more thing, should have added a charging cable in the box. The one that comes with the Transformer works on the keyboard too but a second cable would be very handy to have.
Enjoy your Transformer, I am having fun with mine.

I wanted a tablet that I could easily add and remove files I've created on other machines for work and personal projects. The keyboard not only provides additional hours of battery life, it lets me double the tablet as a laptop for easy, positive 10 finger typing strokes when I'm doing more than socializing with friends, reading or other idle time use. Great for us road wariors to cut down on weight. Like it more and more each day I use it

PROS:
1) Keyboard and Touchpad work amazingly well with the tablet.
2) Has a regular size USB 2.0 port, great for flash drive.
3) Has full size SD card slot.
4) Adds at least 4 hours more of reserve battery power.

CONS:
1) Keyboard is not backlit, should have been designed to be.
2) Slides around on a table to easily when typing, should have used much better rubber feet.
3) Unit is somewhat top heavy to be tipping over when docked, but not horribly so.

Regardless of the cons, I gave it 5 stars anyway because it functions so nicely and the keyboard is reasonably easy to type on.

The color matches the aluminum trim color of the White ASUS Transformer Pad TF300T. It is made of aluminum of a color close to light champagne. System has a very elegant look when the tablet is docked in.

Extremely easy to dock and undock. Provides a trackpad with click button, a full size SD memory card slot, a full size host USB port, extra battery life for about 4.5 hours. Transfers charge to pad. Has a charger LED. Can be chardgeed separately or with tablet docked in.

Given size of keyboard, keys are quite easy to use and trackpad is responsive. Two finger touch scrolling, tap to click, two finger swipe to change Android home window pane. Does not work well touch games such as Angry Birds, although from what I could determine it can be used except for pinch to zoom. Good for typing emails, short texts, etc. Also useful when surfing web: for links or buttons that are too small to touch, I've found the precise trackpad pointer to be quite useful in avoiding zoom and unzoom that I find myself doing when limited to touch operations on the undocked screen.

Keyboard has several keys dedicated to Android, including a useful key to unlock screen without having to touch it.

Quite satisfied with this robust product.

Bought this for my new T300 Transformer. It has a great design and I love the fact that it extends the battery life of the tablet as well. I wanted to use it for text entry while traveling and commuting, but I am having a whale of a time trying to adjust to the continual skipping and jumping of the cursor. I am sure it has something to do with the track pad, but I can't find a way to adjust it and make it less sensitive. I am typing away at a sentence and then look up to see that I am two lines forward or backward in the middle of another paragraph or sentence. If I could resolve that issue I would have a perfect addition to my tablet repertoire.

***I went online looking for a fix soon after my post and learned that I can actually turn off the track pad while typing. I have tried that out and it seems to work exactly as I had wanted. That is great and allows me to change my rating from three to five stars.

It worked for a year or so, and I really liked it. Now the keys no longer communicate with the tablet. The tracking pad responds just fine, as does the charger, just can't type. ASUS seems to be very aware of the problem and has not lifted a finger to respond to the thousands of complaints, other than offer temporary repairs at the buyer's additional cost. Translation: they sell a crappy product and get paid twice for it.I will not buy form a company that thinks so little of me as a customers once my dollars are in its pocket. Do Not Buy This Disposable Keypad. It was built to last until the warranty is up. Even if it is repaired under warranty it will breakdown soon after warranty expires. Bottom line the keypad does not work, the company is aware of this problem, I am out of 150.00 dollars and stuck with a Tf300t tablet with which I am FORCED to use the annoying touchscreen typewriter.

The concept, looks, and function are great. The problem is that it started smoking with a side order of burnt smell. I returned it along with the tablet and memory card. I would buy another "outfit" if Asus addresses the problem as I really liked the tablet.

This docking station stopped working after two months. The mouse works, but the typing keys do not. I tried updating firmware and operating system. Tried to get replacement from company but after many hours on hold to chat with people, could not get it done. Had to buy a new one. Do not buy from this company.
