My son took the ASVAB after only studing from ASVAB for Dummies and scored a 45 but needed a 50 to get into the Air Force. I ordered these books and when he took the test the next time, he scored a 75. Now he has to retake the ASVAB because his score "improved too much". These books were great. Thanks.

The BEST Book Ever!!! Not only is it inexpensive, the is the most comprehensive book you are ever going to come across! I took the ASVAB and noticed that very similar questions came from this book.

I like many of you are bought the top rated book for the ASVAB. Buying these books is nothing compared to what you will get out of being part of the US military. But this book is no good. A lot of us have a hard time with the math. Buyers always think study guides are always right. NOT true some of these books maths problems are wrong. I can't tell you what page it is on but. If you skip through the book to the section where it asks you percent problems. They are telling you if you want to find say 20% of $100 what you have to do is take .20 and divide it by 100. If you do that your answer will come out to be .002. Well you and I know that is wrong. You have to take .20 times 100 and you will get $20. That was the first mistake I seen in this book and the last I need to see. You can use wrong study guides till your blue in the face you will never pass the test. I failed the test twice and just after studying ASVAB for dummies book for 2 days I PASSED. And now have a lot of jobs to choose from. If you don't believe me buy the book and go to the percent section and see for yourself. Good Luck!!!!

My kids are studying for military test and they have found it helpful so far.

It's a good book. It has a lot of valuable information in it and no doubt will help me on the ASVAB.

I had compared reviews for the different ASVAB study guides to see which had the critcs. I have my GED, so when I tried for admission to the United States Navy, I had to make at least a 50% or above. I started studying this book about 3 weeks before the test, and I studied about 3 or 4 hours a day. I have a worst time in Math, so I spent most of my time on that subject. I went to take my test and my score came back a 43%. That was my second time taking the test. The first one was a 47%. The explainations for the questions after are more complicated. it was hard for me to understand what they were talking about, and where certain numbers had come from.
