I got my AT&T Caller ID model 326 about a month ago, and i've had to change the batteries 2 times already!!! That is rediculous. It takes 3 AAA batteries (not 2 AA batteries like it says in the description). And yes, i did buy brand new batteries both times ;) This Caller ID box would be great if the batteries lasted longer. The other review for this product says that it "lights up when the phone rings" which is false. I think this guy was talking about a different caller ID box. Mine looks exactly like the picture up there.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not Bad, December 19, 2001

This cli device works with mostly all the lines, except with some pabx exchanges that dosent support cli. The device is small and has the basic features like looking up and down through the list of the calls and a button to delete the calls.

The good thing is that it has a light on it which lights up when a new call is received.

Overall its a good device in this price tag, as others are expensive.

While it works most of the time, it frequently says "no data," or doesn't flash when a new call has been received. Today I got home to find it's not working at all, even though I replaced the batteries about 2 weeks ago. You can't rely on it.
