worked perfectly as a replacement battery when my phone stopped working - don't toss the phone, buy the replacement battery instead

What more can I say? It was just what I needed, just when I needed it and at a great price.

I had an old AT&T cordless telephone/answering system that was several years old but in excellent working condition, and was about to drop off in a local donations collection bin but got a message from one of my son's that he and his family had relocated and needed a second-hand unit. Since I had this one, I offered to buy a replacement battery for the cordless handset and ship it up to him.

I came across this product after much searching on Amazon, read the reviews, searched the internet to be sure it was the correct replacement battery type for the phone unit I had, and placed the order that day... I'm so glad I did! The order went through without any hassle or back order issue, arrived earlier than expected, and worked perfectly! I box everything up, shipped it all up to my son, and he's been using it flawlessly for the last couple of years now!

Just one note - Please remember that, as with all rechargeable type bateries, you HAVE to let it charge overnight before use or there won't be any charge in the battery... I know that should be an understood issue, but you'd be amazed at how many people think it should arrive to you fully charged already, I guess they forget that (like most products now-a-days) it has been sitting in a warehouse somewhere until an order come through for one!

I felt very lucky to find this battery at amazon.com. It was for a cordless phone that's about 9 years old, which I still like and did not want to replace. At first I went to Walmart and to an electronics store. Neither had the battery. But luckily, Amazon did have a listing for it. The battery works fine and the price seemed very fair. However, I only gave 3 stars for "battery life." Afterall, at this point the battery has only been used for a month...ask me 8 years later how the battery life worked out.

Arrived quickly- easy to install - works fine. Cannot comment on battery life as of yet. Will comment when necessary.

Product arrived on time. Used 1 of the batteries right away and it has worked perfectly.

I ordered three batteries but only one showed up. I emailed and called and received very nice, courteous service from a customer service rep named Lisa. She said she would arrange for the other two batteries to be shipped ASAP. OK the carton arrives, and guess what, once again only one battery. Another call connects me with a useless customer service rep and I insist on talking with a supervisor who turned out to be Lisa once again. Apologies etc and she told me it would be taken care of. I reminded her of the time constraint (my in-laws were moving back to Hungary), and she would do what she could.


Bottom line is the battery didn't arrive in time so I never got the third battery. How can it take a company literally over three weeks to ship some batteries 15 miles. Pathetic performance. These guys can't go out of business fast enough for me. I feel sorry for Lisa working for such a company, she was what I would want my customer service people to be like.

At least the two batteries I did receive work well.
