Good Phone,
This review is from: AT&T 1475 2.4 GHz Cordless Phone with Answering System and Caller ID (Office Product)
I live in NYC and there is always a lot of static in NYC. Well I consider myself a technophile and went through 5 phones at least before settling on this. The range and sound are decent and I have not had a problem with the battery draining or it not working over 2 years. Excellent Product and do recommend it!

We got this phone about 6 months ago and have liked it, in general. But, it has a very annoying feature: when you page the phone, it beeps at the base as well as at the remote phone making it impossible to actually HEAR the remote phone being paged. Poor design!

The audio on the cordless phone is really bad quality. The voices crackle a little over the phone and seems a little muffled like on a walkie talkie. Theres some static too when people talk. Not every good. I wasted my money on this.

WOW !! AN Amazing phone for so little money. This phone originally retailed for OVER $150 bucks, folks. I read the reviews, too. Remember, this is 2.4 gig. technology, and MANY household appliances operate on this frequency, so expect some buzzing. I live in a suburb of Boston, and I have NO static, period. My ONLY complaint is the microphone in the handset is far too small and weak, and not directly aimed at a users mouth to pick up voice conversations loud and clear. One must remember to orieintate the speaker in front of ones mouth in order to get a loud and clear communication to the other party. Other than that, GREAT phone AT&T, and the price UNDER $40 bucks is a SUPER DEAL, Thax.
