- didn't interfere with home WiFi network

- had an answering machine
- could keep good quality while roaming 1 or 2 rooms away
This AT&T phone was the first I tried. It was ok. The answering machine works well and the buttons on both the base and the handset are well configured.
Two complaints. First, the buttons are not reliable when you're dialing. I have to dial long strings of numbers to navigate my company's internal system, and I often found myself having to hang up and redial because the AT&T phone buttons either didn't generate a tone or generated too short a tone.
Second, the phone cut out several times without warning. It would just drop the connection.
Of those I tried: GE, Uniden, Panasonic and AT&T, the Panasonic KX-TG6052B was the best. All features work, Panasonic audio is good, and the buttons and beeps are nice and responsive.
I use Vonage as my phone company and this AT&T system works perfectly. I set the base unit to pick up after 4 rings and Vonage to pickup after 6 rings. This way if I'm on the phone and I receive another call I can let it go to Vonage's voicemail for the caller to leave a message. The phone will then tell me that I have a message waiting via the blinking message light even though the message is on Vonage's server.
The sound quality is crystal clear and the speakerphone is like no other. I often turn on the speaker and set it on my desk and the caller barely can tell it's on speakerphone. I love the ability to add another handset anywhere there's a power outlet for the charger; you're no longer tied to placing an extention next to a jack.
Finally, I've experienced no static interference from my WiFi network or other wireless devices. In fact the base sits right next to the microwave and still no interference (my previous phone had terrible static when the microwave was running).
I'm through with AT&T.
Handy feature is lighted keypads on headset and the ringer volume change and type plus there is even color wakllpaper which can be displayed, used speaker and its clear, its a good all around phone in the home.

This phone works great. My wife calls internationally and this phone is the only phone we haven't had to return because the sound quality was great. Read morePublished on January 16, 2009 by J. Hayes
Disappointed it doesn't accept sequential dialing to facilitate using a calling card where you enter an 800 number and then a pin.Published on August 12, 2008 by Malcolm Dunkley
