Phones sound great; easy to set up and all went as directions indicated; probably great for home use.

Some irritating features (no directory fast dial buttons).

Small business problems: (1) TERRIBLE: an extension can pick up on an ongoing call - our antique Panasonic system didn't allow this but this system does and is an irritating issue I specifically did NOT want and couldn't imagine was not included in this system (2) too many functions require using the menu instead of convenient buttons (3) no mute button except on base station (4) memorized phone numbers are hard to use - have to use directory - no hot buttons - (but are easy to enter) (5) TERRIBLE: no DND or ability to send ringing call directly to voicemail immediately.

System looks great; voice quality is good even on conference and speaker, range seems fine. Would recommend for homes but not for small business.

This is my second two line phone system. I have the corded desk model with two cordless expansion handsets. The first system I owned (different mfgr) had terrible sound, and the battery life on the handsets was terrible. I have been on 2 hour conference calls on the handset, and the battery has gone down just one bar. This AT&T system has great sound, I can plug in a headset to the base unit or the handset. Love the speakerphone. No complaints.

I use this affordable phone system in a small retail business setting. I have used this system for over 5 years. I use the base and 4 cordless handsets. This system works well for me. Each handset will allow the user to transfer the call to another handset. You can make an intercom call to another handset. You can have multiple users on the same call. You can put a caller on hold. Each handset has a speaker-phone if you want. Voice messages can be retrieved from any handset. I only have one line but the phone will accommodate two lines. The voice clarity on the cordless handsets is excellent. You can scroll incoming and outgoing phone numbers for re-dial. My only complaint is that it does not have music-on-hold. I guess for a few thousand dollars more, I could get music.

the cordlesses we had weren't working well, i bought this replacement, plugged it in and that was it. no issues at all. works great

I have serious quality problem with this headset. One broke in 6 months after purchase with a non-charging battery. Another one broke in 10 months with static noises during the call. Last one broke in 13 months with Line1/2 buttons not working. AT&T honors the warranty for first two units. However, with this headset discontinued, I might replace the whole system to another brand.

Does anyone know if this expansion will work with the AT&T EP5962 base? I am trying to find an extension for it and I keep getting linked to this phone. I like the phone I have and I dont want to buy a new base but it doesn't look like they make the original one. Same company and the phones look very much alike. Anyone?

I am delighted with this replacement system for another AT&T 2-line we've used since 2002. Sound, including that of the handset speaker, is good and so is the range, and it's user-friendly. Only downside: shoulder-cradling the handset can lead to cut off calls.

This phone has been a great addition to our business. It is nice to have a second handset so that you always have a backup.

We have only had them a short time but so far they appear to work well. We did have a previous model that was very similar and they worked well for several years and we are very hard on them.

After researching competitive products for necessary features Amazon offered the best product with the best price and delivered quickly. Amen
