Compatible with AT&T pay-as-you-go cell phone service, the ultrathin LG G4011 phone runs on dual-band GSM service and features GPRS-class high-speed data download, a WAP browser, EMS, and more, all displayed on a backlit 128 x 128 grayscale screen.

For calling, the phone provides a voice mail button and indicator, volume select/display, call timers, redial, missed call indicator, call log, any-key answer, auto-answer, roaming indicator, speed dial, phonebook look-up, phonebook scroll, mute control, no-answer transfer, usage alert, call restrictions, vibrating ring, and differential ring, as well as a phone book capacity of up to 100 entries. You'll also get SMS two-way text messaging as well as other useful Web features via the phone's mMode Internet access.

When you get on the mobile Internet, you can take advantage of data download, plus search for news, stock quotes, the weather and more. To help you stay organized, there's even a PIM and a handy scratch pad function. The phone comes with a built-in battery charger, and charged batteries rate at 150 minutes talk time, and 144 hours standby time. The G4011 weighs 2.93 oz. and measures 3.23 x 1.73 x 0.79 inches

I own this fone for almost 6 months now and I have been using almost pretty rough, its a nice fone with good at&t plans. recommended for college students or anyone who doesnt want to use it all day long. Price on this one is pretty good and best of all no contracts! I agree with the other reviewer saying that this one sure gets you a lot of compliments, good design. Giving it 4 stars just becuase i'd like my phone to have a little more substance

This is the third LG 4011 I have had. Everyone one I have had has had to be replaced. LG and ATT will not send me a different model though I have begged and pleaded. THe last time I had a problem with the "new" one they sent me, I read them the numbers on the phone and they said "oh yeah that one is defective" The phone turns off for no reason when you are in the middle of a conversation. WIth my husband being overseas losing a call because your phone just shuts off isn't very ideal. So trust me this is the worst piece of junk phone.

I dont understand why people jump to such negative conclusion about such great products!!! well first of all its a BASIC handset so TECHIES shoud know better about what this phone has to offer before they make it look bad to all who are intersted in buying. IN MY OPINION THIS IS GREAT BASIC PHONE and anyone who wants a phone to use it as a PHONE and not a camera or mp3 player etc then its a great buy, great ATT service plans- it sure is hassle free, just buy the kit, activate it with att and you are ready to make calls! YES its that simple, no credit check, no wait!! Expensive looking phone- get compliments from friends all the time!!BOTTOM LINE: It duz all that a cell PHONE is supposed to do i-e make calls on the go. And it duz its job great. I recommend it as I have been using the same one myself for 3 months
