These headphones have pretty good sound for being lightweight. Seems to have a good balance of high-mid-low. Also, as I have tried out several sets of small headphones recently, this unit can tolerate high volume better than any others I've purchased. Larger headphones handle high volume better than small ones, but these do well. Equally important... these cans are comfortable on the ears and head. I've worn them for hours at a time and they are comfortable. The cord isn't very long, maybe about a yard or meter or something, but that's not a problem for me. I originally wanted lightweight headphones with a volume control, but I think I purchased most of the ones available but didn't care for any of them. I'll be buying two more sets of these.

These headphones are exactly what I was looking for. They are lightweight and don't feel like a clamp on your head. The earpieces are soft and very comfortable. I can use these for much longer times than I have used other headphones. Plus the sound is very good. I like the sound better or at least as much as much more expensive ones. I recommend them for computer use and for the less fussy audiophile (like me). I reserve final judgement because I haven't used these to listen to a great source on demanding music recently.

Bought this for use with my laptop and find it sounds very good, especially considering the price. I found them very comfortable and I like the open design so you can still hear what's going on in the room. The only drawback is the cord is pretty short.

These headphones are an excelent choice for the price, the sound quality they deliver it's simply great plus they are so comfortable and light that you will forget you are wearing them, I use these for portable and bed listening and couldent be happier with my purchase.
The only downside it's that the headband feels kinda cheap but I have even stepped on them by accident and they are still like new.

These are above average headphones for the price. They are extremely comfortable, and I can easily tell that they have above average drivers for this class of headphone. As is the case with some of Audio Technica's higher end headphones, they are a bit light on bass as compared to Sennheiser or Grado. But the midrange and highs are clean. I bought them to use with podcasts and books, as I was primarily concerned with comfort. If you're looking for a superior music headphone in this price range, I would probably recommend the Sennheiser HD201 over these, but the Senn's aren't nearly as comfortable. I have the Koss KSC75's which are another notable budget headphone, and I prefer these for most kinds of music.

I am an audiophile, and bought these for some more inconspicuous portable listening. I need to be able to hear my surroundings when out and about. These are open, which also creates a natural ambiance. They completely astound me with the quality of sound. Made in Taiwan, a free country, which is a factor in my every purchase. Truly a hidden gem, which you have now found. Extremely highly recommended.
