This is a very plug and play device. Just plugging in the USB transmitter gives you mouse control, and loading the software gives you the fully functionality. While it isn't a full on remote KB/Mouse, it gives remote control functionality to your PC.

Great IR remote for the Mac,

This remote works well with my G4 Mac Mini that, unlike the Intel Mac Mini, does not have an infrared interface. I've used it when viewing QuickTime and Elgato EyeTV recordings. And, as the other reviewer has mentioned, it is available for on eBay. I purchased a Remote Wonder II there for $21, including USPS priority shipping.

Been using these remotes on my Macs for years, but look on ebay, they can be had for under $20
