The device works, except that I can't get the full screen mode to transfer to the TV. This is definitely a flaw in the convertor, since there is no problem getting full screen mode with VGA connections from TV to computer. It's really handy to have a TV that has a VGA conection on it. It really was not necessary to spend this much money to hook up computer to TV and home theater after all. It is a huge disappointment not to be able to transfer full screen video mode through this convertor to TV. That should not be a problem with such an expensive device. I contacted the company, and have gotten no reply.

I bought this from Amazon and sent it to my son in Japan so I could put my skype camera on my TV for NHL Games and he can watch on his large screen TV instead of on his small screen computer. He loves it, and it's in HD too!

This is not suitable for use on a monitor where you need sharp text.
