Taking advantage of the 'real scan' technology, this figure looks exactly like Count Dooku (Christopher Lee). Probably collector oriented as it features less articulation than other figures, this one is essential for anyone wanting to complete their Star Wars collection. Accessories include his unique light saber with the bent handle as well as a hologram of his master, Darth Sidious should he need to contact him. Also included is a green lightsaber from a scene cut from the film where Dooku uses 2, yes 2, sabers to fight Yoda with. Overall a great looking figure sure to please collectors especially along with kids.

The wonderful Count Dooku is a must-have for any AOTC collector. He is hardcore in the movie and his figure is hard core too. He has a slashing motion when you squeeze his legs...i dont think this is too necessary. Older star wars toys never had or needed "actions". But anyway, this is a sick figure. I love his bent light saber and emporer hologram. The part i dont get is he comes with a green light saber. I dont recall him using one ever. Count Dooku may be hard to find, so if you see it, get it.

Christopher Lee has had a long and storied career playing such villains as Dracula, Dracula, Dracula, and, of course, Dracula. He also played Scaramanga, the man with the golden gun in THE MAN WITH THE GOLDEN GUN (he's Ian Fleming's cousin and had dibs on a movie role from Day One of the Bond Franchise). In latter years he's had an autumn career playing such corrupted heroes as Saruman The White in LORD OF THE RINGS and here, Count Dooku aka Darth Tyranus, in ATTACK OF THE CLONES and (very briefly) in REVENGE OF THE SITH (where he lost his head). You can see why Christopher Lee was a natural for the role of Count Dooku. The character is a Count with a cape (like Dracula), carrying a one-off lightsaber with a scimitar grip (much like Scaramanga's unique 24-carat pistol), and who, with his arcane powers, has gone over to the enemy (like Saruman). Like Dracula, Scaramanga and Saruman, Dooku is a one-of-a-kind name. See? This role was just made for Mr. Lee. Less a committed Sith than a thoroughly disaffected Jedi, Dooku works closely with Darth Sidious to destabilize the Republic, but the two are natural rivals, not true allies. Dooku definitely wants to be the Sith Lord, not the Sith Apprentice, and so Palpatine maneuvers him into a corner (literally) before having Dooku done in by his "new apprentice" Darth Vader aka Anakin Skywalker. Just to give Dooku butterflies they packaged him with a blue plastic hologram of the Emperor. This is a really great 3.75 inch action figure that reasonably resembles Christopher Lee. The figure comes with "slashing action" (he will make a chopping motion with his lightsaber when his legs are pressed together). He comes armed with two lightsabers, one in Jedi green and one (with the scimitar grip) in Sith red (I gave the green one to the weaponless Darth Sidious figure as a trophy). The one drawback to this figure is that THE CAPE JUST WILL NOT STAY ON without making some modifications to the figure. This seems to be a universal gripe among Dooku's reviewers and fans on this page. Nevertheless, he's very cool, and it makes you wish Dooku'd retired from the Sith business and decided to go hang with his old teacher Yoda and the Good Side Gang. After all, he still has his old school lightsaber in the closet (but maybe the fact that they called him "Ducky" in the First Form has something to do with his career as a Denizen of Evil-type guy). Who wouldn't go Sith on you with a nickname like that?
