For my first setup, I did a lot of research and decided to go with Audiopipe because everyone says that their amps actually put out rated power for a good price. I am pushing this sub in a sealed enclosure built to spec @ true 600w RMS @ 2 ohms from an Audiopipe APSM-1300 even though it is rated at 500 with no problems. Just because this is my first setup does not mean I don't know what good speakers sound like. My friends are running L7's and DC level 3's and this sub sounds pretty good in comparison when you take into account the price. Just make sure you break in the spider before pushing it too hard and you should be all set. I have this in an extended cab Ranger and it sounds very nice. With the volume all the way down it sounds similar to the Bose systems that newer cars come with. I would recommend this if you are on a budget, or you are young like me and it is your first build. Yes, L7's are undoubtedly better, but in comparison to other subs in this price range, this is an excellent choice.
