I started using this product when I was about 4 months pregnant with my first baby. Although studies have been unable to show that cocoa butter actually prevents stretch marks, I thought it was worth trying. I've used it almost daily since, and so far so good, despite my growing tummy.

Although I can't say for certain whether it's good results or good luck, I can say this: I would use this product regardless. It's moisturizing, luxurious, and smells like one of my favorite things ever. Chocolate. What's more, it's natural and contains both nutrients and antioxidants.

This product is a solid, not a cream. This is simply because it is 100% pure cocoa butter. The melting point of cocoa butter is below the typical room temperature, unless is it mixed with other ingredients. It will melt quickly on contact with skin, but in this product's tub-like container, it is easier to melt it in the microwave for a few seconds before application. I do this in the mornings as a part of my routine. It's quick, easy, and a little cocoa butter goes a long way. Once it's rubbed in, it doesn't leave a sticky residue. Since it is an oil, it's very smooth, and would probably be great for massages... Hmm..

Summed up, this is a sweet way to start the day with a little pampering.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I first ordered this product. Like another customer mentioned, I, too, expected it to be soft. But it isn't. It's very hard, because it's totally organic. It only contains pure cocoa butter, which is a good thing.. I melt a chunk of this in a double boiler along with some pure shea butter and a little organic coconut oil..once it's melted,remove from heat, add in a little almond oil, jojoba oil or another type of natural oil, squirt in a couple of vitamin e capsules (just poke them with a needle and squirt out the oil), and add some aloe gel, stir it really well, set the dish in a large bowl full of really cold water and let it sit for about 30 minutes. Then take your mixer and mix it up until it's the consistancy you want. It'll look like beaten eggs and sugar... If you like that consistancy, put in in a clean, sterilized containers (I use little glass canning jars).. If you want it even fluffier, let it sit for another 30 minutes or so, then mix it again.. It's the best body butter I've ever used and I love the smell of this cocoa butter..It's great for dry skin! You can't beat the ingredients and best of all, it's all natural..No chemicals leaching into your skin.. I've used other brands of cocoa butter, but this brand has the nicest smell. Smells like a light chocolate.

Smells like chocolate, keeps me moisturized. But because it is natural, it is solid in cold temperatures which makes it a bit hard to apply to skin

I expected this item to be a soft body type butter that you can use. Instead, it is hard and if you want to use it, you must melt/soften it every time.
