Good while it lasted
I've had this shredder for a little over two years. Maybe my expectation of how long shredders should last is a little optimistic, but it recently stopped working (the gears no longer turn, although the thing still makes a ton of noise). I won't buy another one from AURORA.

Reasonable, light-duty shredder
Shredder does not work with 8 regular sheets of plain white paper. It has difficulty processing four at a time. After about 15 minutes of four-at-a-time shredding, the unit shuts down due to a thermal switch (to keep from overheating). It takes about 20 minutes for the unit to revive itself. Credit Card Shredding Warning,

The shredder is advertised with the ability to shred credit cards. I tried to shred one and it jammed the shredder. I had to use tweezers to pry the card out. This shredder can only handle up to four sheets of paper and no credit cards.
