It what it says it is: an s-video cable. Being an a/v specailist, my natural choice is the component cable to get the best resolution out of the Wii. When my big screen broke a month ago, I found myself needing the stock cable, which I tossed somewhere and forgot about after I got a component cable.This cable is about the same price as new composite bundle from Nintendo and it has the option of s-video or composite. If given the choice, most people would go with s-vid but it is nice to have the composite if you're in a pinch. Overall, it's a good cable for what it is but if you have the inputs, go with component. |
