This review is from: Boss AVA1202 7-Band Equalizer X-Bass Low Frequency Boost Selector (Electronics)
I run my audio from my flat screen TV Outputs to my 8 YO Sharp entertainment system (Aux In), which only has 'modes' of bass/treble control (Jazz, Rock, Classic, Vocal, Flat, etc.) and does not give more fine-tuned options. I do have some freq response control in my TV, but often just watch it w/o running on my ent. system (saving power, as used mainly for movies, sport events, etc.), and when I adjust my TV for desired sound, my ent. system always comes across as 'too bassy!."I bought this device (made for auto 12v systems), installed a connector on its side compatible for typical AC/DC adaptors, and used one of my old 12v regulated adaptors laying around to make it an Equalizer for Home Ent. System. Only uses 4 wts, leave on all the time, and enjoy being able to boost highs/turn down the lows, and also watch the freq response bar graphs on it as it sits right below my TV set..

You should have specified in the review that this equalizer was for a vehicle. I needed one for my home stereo. Therefore, I returned it.
