I'm one of those people that has a ton of half used hair products but when I finally came across this style-prep smoother I didn't feel like I had to move on.

After washing and conditioning, I use 1 pump for my slightly-below-the-chin hair, rub it in my hands and work through my hair. My hairdresser claims that this is also a heat protectant, up to 400 degrees. I blow dry and straighten my hair almost everyday so I can confirm that it's an excellent heat protector. After straightening, I use 1/2 a pump and run that through my hair.

This product also protects against humidity for 24 hours and yes, it really does that. I am willing to do my hair on a rainy day because I know that it will still look great that night as well.

Unlike many other products I've used, this doesn't ever weigh your hair down. You'll be touching your hair all the time because I promise you, you'll never have felt it that soft before.

I've read from other reviews that this is also good for those who have curly/wavy hair that like to airdry/diffuse. I guess it helps prevent frizzies, but I don't have any personal experience with that.

It's expensive and I balked at the price but it's worth it and I'll be sure to buy another bottle when I run out.

I use to go to the Aveda store in the mall for my products. The mall where the only Aveda store resides is about 35 miles away. Now my products are only a click away. What a way to save my on my products and gas money at the same time!!! Thank you!!

I have struggled with products over the years that were too firm or left my hair frizzy. My hair is wavy and cut in layers. The shorter layers curled fine, but the longer layers would look drawn out and almost straight sometimes. I started using this stuff (2 pumps) and my hair has looked great every since. I'm even growing it long again! The longer layers curl up and have body without the "wet" look. I love it!

I got my haircut yesterday at an Aveda salon and the stylist used this on my hair (which is very curly, thin, and prone to frizziness). I am very pleased with the results. I had been using mousse on my hair because I hate the crisp, wet look that other products seem to give me. Plus, the stylist said that mousse is very drying on the hair and that this product was much gentler to my curls. A small amount was enough for my entire head of hair (about 2 inches below shoulder length). My curls stayed in place, and they are not frizzy or "crunchy" to the touch. I highly recommend this product.
