This A7X album is great. It's really good, but if you happen to purchase it in vinyl the audio quality is outstanding. My favorite songs have to be Almost Easy and Scream. I plan to buy more A7X albums as well.

A decent christian mix metal album containing mostly christian metal with 1 Halloween song and 1 country song at the end of this CD. Altogether this is a decent album the only thing I don't like about this CD is the 2nd from last song. To me, it was not really a song, and it dragged on for exactly 8 minutes long with the instruments all over the place. But this album has song great songs too, in my opinion. , but this album is nothing like their first album this album is more vocal, in case some were wondering about that. I recommend this album to Christian metal listeners and liker and also to people into mix metal music. To most people this album is hard rock but this can also be defined as a lighter form of modern day metal music. I liked this album it was vary decent to me.

This CD has 10 songs and is about 52 minutes long

This is not my favorite A7X album, but it has some good songs. The vinyl itself is high quality and mostly noise free. The mastering on the vinyl also provides a little extra dynamic range and thus is a bit better sounding than the CD. If you like A7X and have a decent turntable, get this. By decent, I mean something like the AT-LP120. Avoid Crosley and Jensen tables unless you like mediocre sound and want to put wear on your records with their overweight styli and cartridges.

i love this album but the print to vinyl was poor , i guess they don't make them like they use to ! even with a high end needle it still skipped all over and it sounded really bad ! not recommended to buy , get the cd or mp3 !

Doesn't hit the same high notes as city of evil. But what A7X's self titled lacks in singles, it more than makes up for in an album full of great songs. I love nearly every track and put this as one of my top albums.

Great condition but I can't help but think the album wasn't mastered correctly for vinyl. Sounds very flat and seams like guitars are very quiet.

When I got this vinyl it was scratched already but I think it was the producer's fault but other then that it was good

Are they Satanic worshipers or what?
You do realize that the biblical reference of their name involves demonic possession right? The biblical text states that when a demon is excorsized, if it returns, it will return sevefold. Maybe you're blind because you're a fan, but satanists can reference the bible just as easily as a Christian.

Weak album but still fun to listen to
I have to disagree with this post, I found this album pretty heavy. It's amazing and right next to "City Of Evil" if not a little better. The last song "Dear God" is an almost country ballad that could be one of the nicest songs A7X has ever recorded. The two singles... Read More

New CD Rocks!!!!!!!! (first Impressions)
I just previewed it too, not sure about brilliant. I guess I just don't know where the country track came from, I guess to completely take over the rock world. They are well on their way, and I personally think that if you have never heard one of their songs before then listing to Afterlife is... Read More

Different band, great music but...
I think it's because the drummer is holding back. They sound like Firehouse cock rock now. Or Tesla or something. If they didn't try to push it as heavy then we'd probably like it better. Unfortunately, all though entertaining, it is very far from heavy.
