5.0 out of 5 stars Comfortable
I stand 8 hrs a day on my job and I weigh almost 300 lbs. The Avia walking shoe is by far the most comfortable shoe I've ever had. Better than even Rockport which I also like very much.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good shoe - Unsurpassed comfort *but* 1 quality issue, June 8, 2011

I've owned 2 pairs of these shoes. These are the one of the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned.

However, I'm giving it only 3 stars because of 1 quality issue. I had to stop using my first pair because the bottom layer of the shoe near the heal became unglued. With the second pair I bought, the same thing has started to happen after the first day of wearing the shoes.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Safety Shoe, June 28, 2011
I work on my feet long days. I find these shoes to be comfortable and of fairly good quality. I have not had my insoles try to "work themselves out" of my shoes, as others evidently have. But I do wear Dr. Scholls orthotics too. I would especially recommend for those with bunions (as I have.) They are some of the most comfortable safety shoes I've found available.

1.0 out of 5 stars Shoes, May 1, 2011

These are the worst shoes I have ever bought. When walking in them the insole works its way out the back of the shoe. I tried gluing the insole in with no success. I should have returned the shoes as soon as I had problems wih them. The worst $40 I have ever spent.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not comfortable!, July 19, 2010

Bought these because the price was right, but what a waste of money. I typically like Avia, but these are so uncomfortable they aren't even used for garden shoes.
