5.0 out of 5 stars Great look for my happy feet
Having had painful feet for several years, I searched for shoes that would help. Usually, I found something that still required OTC inserts to be comfortable. Then I found AVIA A5020W's. No inserts; just plain comfort! This is my second pair (in a different color) and I'm pretty sure the next pair will be AVIA as well.

2.0 out of 5 stars Fair
Disappointed in the shock absorbency of the sole. Not nearly as good as the discontinued Avia model I was replacing for around the same price. I would not recommend these or purchase them again. In fact, I prefer wearing my worn out older model to these.

I am very pleased with my purchase. The shoes are comfortable and look nice.
I have very narrow feet and these running shoes feel really good.

3.0 out of 5 stars less cushion, September 22, 2010
I started with the Men's version of this shoe and absolutely loved it. I use the shoes strictly for workout on an eliptical/orbital trainer. I am fairly hard on them, however it is a machine workout, not like they would take on pavement with running. I was tickled when I found the women's and it was in pink (always a perk for a girl). However, I was disappointed with the cushioning of the shoe. It doesn't have near the cushion found in the men's shoe. If I had to make a choice between the men's or women's shoe I would choose the men's version. However, on the plus side, they are a good and sturdy shoe and they have lasted longer than some other brands that I've used.

2.0 out of 5 stars Terrible traction and fit., July 7, 2009
The shoe is not true to size. It is about 1/2 size smaller. I take aerobic classes and I can not wear this sneaker. I slip all over with it.
Sorry, but this is my review.
