Great info on the history of aviation. Fast easy reading but not much on leglislation. The price of this book is criminal.

Give a good chronological review from the early days of aviation thru deregulation. More of a history of aviation then a review of legislation. Book did not get deep into early legislation but did devote a lot of chapters to regulation/deregulation. Overall material was informative but had a lot of personal views from author.

I'm working on my bachelor's degree and I found this to be one of the best books so far in all my courses. I read it from top to bottom. It provides excellent information on the history of American civil aviation, the FAA and airline deregulation. If you want to learn why civil aviation in the US is in such a sad state, then read this book!

As far as the condition of the book, it arrived in excellent condition. The book was an okay book with much information on the historical aspects of the origins aviation legislation. The organization of the information was lousy. Multiple writers engaged in compiling data with no real organizational skills what so ever. Much of the writings were repeated throughout the chapters as if no real chronological organization was even established in the final cut. Basically, it was good information; poorly compiled. The price was outrageous for a poorly organized literary work.

-In this day and age every written article holds historical aspects which produce profound consequences when read by it's intended audience. Whether the information printed is true is irrelavent. The fact of the matter is; it was published, purchased, and read. This makes it damaging to any mind which is not prepared to identify personal regards to factual events. Always question the validity of information presented, and the intent of it's authors.

this book was descibed as very good condition and it was far from it. The book was supposed to come with a cd and it did not. This book had quite alot of highlighting in it. It was also wore more than the seller claimed.The one thing that was true was that it did arrive in the 12 day period that was supposed to.

I recently had to use this book for a class on basic legislation relating to the aviation community. The history about the creation of the American aviation industry and regulation is interesting. On a whole the author doesn't dive too deep into it all, rather touches on major points in the history as needed for this basic introduction. The largest let down though is the self-check modules that are provided with the CD-ROM. There are numerous typos in both the book and supplied modules. It lead to confusion with a number of students on my class, because while trying to answer some of the modules the book had a different spelling or didn't even mention a subject that was being asked in the module.

I'll just say this product was ordered 6 Mar, it was supposed to have been delivered on 30 Mar 09, it is now 6 Apr 09 and I still have not received my product, as I'm approaching week 3 of my class.

book badly beat up. highlighted extensively & much scribble in the margins.NOT WORTH $$, next time I will buy new.
