No beefs at all except you can sometimes trigger the buttons if you keep the fob in your pocket. Overall quality is high. Directions are very good. Will buy another Avital alarm.

This item is Worth the money. The Install was a little pricey and an extra bypass unit was needed. Otherwise happy with the product.

I was new to remote starters and car alarms. I bought this for my mother's Honda Civic in Toronto, to spare her from having to come out to a cold car every morning. I found a guy to do the installation on Craigslist for about $150 (to setup the starter and alarm). It worked great right from the beginning. I love the beeps and sounds it makes. Different sounds for car locking and unlocking. Alarm is LOUD. Starter works well and has a pretty long range. Even the key fob itself is pretty cool!
