Warranty issues,
Please be aware that the manufacturer of Ariston brand does not have presense in US. I had purchased a washer/dryer from them in 2006 and it was sold to me with a full 2-year warranty (one of the reasons to choose it then). Now it is broken and they don't want to honor the warranty telling that they have no legal obligations to do so.

This washer/dryer was provided with a condo I bought in CA. It took a little getting accustomed to because they just don't function the same way a regular washer and dryer would. After a little adjustment and learning how to sort cloths differently it worked great for me. Two of us used this machine typically doing laundry every other day or so depending on how many cloths we used since the drum doesn't hold much, but it was great to be able to throw cloths in on my way to work or before bed and have them ready to go when I got back/up. Main issue was that I pretty much had to iron everything, the drum is just to small to really give the fabric much chance of fluffing out. I lived in the apartment for about 2 years and have been renting the place out for another 3 years and the only problem that has ever occured with this machine is a belt that come of and later wore out and had to be replaced. I'd deffinately buy another machine like this.
