If you're looking for a quality show-piece, this is not the sword for you. Conversely, if your just starting out into broadsword, don't want to spend a whole lot of money on a practice weapon, don't want to mess with the flimsy chrome/spring/wushu steel, and want a sword that will hold up to moderate contact, this will work fine for you. The only real disadvantage - in my mind - is the lightness of the sword. I guess this might be to some potential readers' advantage if they lack the wrist and forearm strength to swing around steel with speed and CONTROL, but it feels weird to me.
All in all, it's not a bad tool to have in your arsenal.

If you are looking for a Wushu flexible broadsword forget about this one. The sword is not flexible. I use this as a practice broadsword for traditional forms it has weight and balance slightly forward. I would not use this sword to clash with other swords. In the end its a great practice Broadsword. No scab included.
