The Prime was designed and developed with the idea of combining the most safety and support with the best value available in top of the line off road boots. All new injection molded PU plastics used throughout the design of the boot. Anatomic left and right angles, shapes and assembly of the plastics ensure the boot performs according to the natural movement of the foot and leg. Unique open cell PU molded shapes disperse energy from blows and impacts by allowing a deformation to the plastics and internal padding which lessen the chance of injury. A unique to floating 3D dog-bone torsion bar support applied to the boot over the ankle area resists side to side rotation and over flex yet still allows the natural twist the ankle joint needs to naturally reposition itself to center. The 2D molded rubber compound over ankle, heel and instep area never breaks down or loses any amount of its supportive and flexible features. A tapered, soft seal rubber molded gaiter wraps the top of the boot offering a barrier which resists dirt from entering. Four replaceable aluminum power lever locking buckles float over and follow the flexing contour of the exoskeleton shell. The 8 degrees of the Racing Forward upper shape reduces fatigue to the upper shin and lower leg. Lightweight PU covered synthetic upper resists wear, requires less breaking and retains shape longer. A sculpted and thinly shaped wrapping toe box incorporates slip resistant shifter ridges. Above the heel is a 3D molded heel cap with a special Hole shot grabber shift enhancer. Pressure molded rubber heat guard conforms to the shape of the leg and includes a fiber backing to resist punctures. Its own bi-color molded fully wrapping sole is bonded to the upper using a special blend of adhesive. A stain resistant macro-mesh lining is combined with synthetic leathers on the heel providing a non-slip interior. Designed in California and race tested and approved all over the world.
