This book will make you really humble, January 7, 2010
This review is from: The AZUSA STREET REVIVAL - An Eyewitness Account (Paperback)
REPOSTED FROM AMAZON U.K. - Review of Bartleman's "Azusa Street" - 18 Aug 2004.
By Erlend Førsund "[...]" (Sarpsborg, Norway).
This book tells about the pentecostal revival that started in Azusa Street in 1906, a story told by Mr. Bartleman who experienced it himself. He tells about meetings where the atmosphere was so sacred and holy that they didn't even use instruments, and they would rather pray than to sing away the anointing. The people were on their knees all day and night on the mudfloors praying and seeking God ... I believe you will be a better Christian if you read this book, and if you're not a Christian you will see what the Gospel has done to people, and perhaps experience it yourself. God bless you!
