Product Description

Zombies. You know 'em, you love 'em. But what do they think of you? In this hilarious twist on the Classic Zombie Tale, we see the world through Zombie eyes when a barrel full of Toxic Goo transforms four friends in to the Walking Dead, and suddenly, it seems every one else has gone mad. In the most unique Zombie story in years, the Zombies embark on a bumbling quest to find the "Truth", completely unaware of their rotting undeadness. After all, Zombies are people too.

..Charming...embrace by horror fans a sure thing. Deadpan fun with performances right on pitch. --Dennis Harvey, Variety

This film has 'instant classic' written all over it. It's refreshing to see an Indie film that really takes a shot at something different for a change. can't stop laughing. --New York Times

In a time when even the stand-out new zombie movies are treading on familiar ground, both stylistically and thematically, it's rare to find an entry in the genre that demonstrates both originality and wit. 'AAAH! ZOMBIES!!' does just that. --The Horror Review

4.0 out of 5 stars Pretty Awesome and Great for Laughs April 21, 2011
This movie was surprisingly funny. I tend to find what look like bad b movies and put them on to see how bad they're actually going to be. Sometimes I find a gem. This movie is definetly one of those.

B movie, yes, but incredibly entertaining nonetheless. The characters were interesting and funny and the actors were believable and delivered their lines well. There weren't a lot of cheesy production values and the shift between black and white and color in the movie was well thought out and a nice compliment to the plot. And for the characters that DID deliver cheesy lines; it was done in an obvious enough manner that it was meant to make you snicker with amusement (and did).

The plot of seeing life through the eyes of the zombies was done in an awesome way and I'm very glad I watched. Four stars instead of five for some awkwardly acted moments and a few plot points that didn't seem well enough developed, but otherwise I'd watch this movie over and over again.

3.0 out of 5 stars low budget zomedy with wierd premise. April 28, 2011
If you are NOT a zomedy fan, then don't even bother! but if you are,
this movie is so over the top that you can't help but wonder how it came about.
The zombies see themselves as living people and everyone else as superfast infected people. It's silly and fun and these average folks try to avoid the 'zombies' as they tear into people. And this is not extrem gore by any means but it's not for little kids either. Still you have to love low budget flicks to like this one and the acting is better than many flicks of this level. The c level or low b... anyways I liked this one and found it interesting with a few laughs and it's overall attitude is zany. As the zombies want to flee to their own town to be free , free to rot I guess , even as they are lead by a talking head? You see,it's zaniness all the way and serious zombie fans will not like it maybe but I did. The dvd looks great too.

Best acting NO, Highest budget No, but the story line was pretty good. It was comical and quirky. I would recommend it to anyone who has prime.

5.0 out of 5 stars A must own for zombie lovers September 14, 2012
Format:DVD|Verified Purchase
This is a gem to me. Unfortunate that there are no bonus features since this is one movie that could have had a fun commentary at least. There is no nudity and little gore, but what it does have are some really fun characters and good writing. This film makes the zombies the heroes which i love most about it. So don't hope to see Walking Dead or something - the military and others are the bad guys here. It's all about 4 friends and a soldier who happen to end up becoming zombies, but they don't know it. That is where the comedy is, to each other they seem normal - other than some superhuman abilities. They think they have become super soldiers and that others around them are infected with some hyper rage. The movie splits between the friends interacting in color and goes black and white Night of the Living Dead style when they are viewed by others around them. It is a very funny Zomedy or Zom Com and you really get to care for the zombies thanks to some good acting and writing.

3.0 out of 5 stars Campy Zombie Fun February 3, 2011
Yes, it's silly campy humor, delivered in a dry, occasionally slow, manner. But, I did enjoy this movie as a light zombie romp. Had I seen this with friends, I'd be joking with them for months to come, saying, "...because I'm a Super Soldier!"

5.0 out of 5 stars Hilarious film! September 8, 2012
Format:Amazon Instant Video
I thought I'd spend maybe 10 minutes before going to bed watching this...and did not expect to spend the next hour and a half laughing my ears off. I almost never laugh out loud at movies, but this one had me howling. The hackneyed "soldier" can't say a thing that's not Hollywood stock script for a tough soldier, which is preposterously funny when he's trying to keep his friends in line. And when the Zombies have to play dead to escape...well, you get the idea. "Hey, drive faster!" "Hey, man, I'm a Zombie."

Very much worth seeing if you like completely ridiculous humor. Sort of like Monty Python, Zombie Edition.

4.0 out of 5 stars Don't judge by the cover! Zombie fan must have! July 29, 2011
Format:DVD|Verified Purchase
Zombie movie from a Zombie point of view. 4 friends are unwittingly contaminated. They have no idea how they really look. To them, everyone else moves too fast and their speech sounds like flies. In truth, they have slowed way down.

The film flips from zombie to human perspective throughout. You have not lived until you see a zombie trying to pass himself off as a waiter in a Mexican restaurant.

3.0 out of 5 stars A change of pace... January 13, 2011
"Aaaaah! Zombies!"
Note: mild spoilers below
"Shaun Of The Dead" will remain the gold standard of zomb-comedies (although some might argue that the entire genre is comedic...) but "Aaaaah! Zombies!" provides a few good guffaws. The premise is great: the protagonists, a group of self-involved twenty-somethings have been infected with a government-created zombie virus but they are unaware that they have become zombies. Their perceptions alter so that, in their slow, shambling forms, they now see normal humans as hyperactive weirdos with high, squeaky voices. Although they can talk among themselves and have rational conversations, all humans is rahhh!!! grunt! argh! and it takes the zombie kids a while to catch on to their true predicament. It's a funny concept, deliberately framed as a goofy, super-cheapo midnight movie, packed with -- indeed, entirely constructed out of -- irony-laden, relentlessly cliched dialogue and crass, broad, see-it-coming-a-mile-away humor. Some of it's effective, but the film could have used a little more punch, and perhaps slightly crisper, more vigorous editing. Of course, I was not stoned or intoxicated while watching it, and doubtless that would help with the viewing experience.

Not great, but worth checking out if you're a zombie flick fanatic. (Axton)
