I bought the complete four-DVD set of Hot Nude Yoga videos and am very pleased with them. I've been practicing yoga on and off for a number of years and have been attending sessions at HNY in New York for over a year. There are great things to say about practicing nude, working with partners, the gift of touch and the transformation of sexuality into spirituality, but the single most important thing is the quality of the teaching and as all these videos capture, it is damn fine.

The Virgin disc can be done by someone relatively new to yoga, but it is also a wonderful, soothing practice for a person with more experience. The video quality is high and the men are certainly worth watching. The camera does a good job of capturing the specific moves so that you can check your own form against what is happening on screen. This is a video you want to watch in letterbox format for best viewing. Aaron Star's direction is quite clear and the soothing quality of his voice encourages without seeming to push. It's a pleasure to watch him moving among the students and adjusting their positions with a gentle, encouraging touch. What I particularly like about the video, since my TV is not on the floor, is how easy it is to follow the practice without keeping your eyes on the screen. The music that accompanies the practice is gentle and pleasant, but there were moments early on where I felt the sound of breath being drawn in or exhaled was out of synch with the practice. The bonus footage includes some clear direction on the yoga posture Downward Dog and an explanation of how to perform Downward Dog with a partner.

As an indication of how pleased I am with this disc - I bought a second copy to give to my closest friend as a gift.

I think the DVD is fabulous. Aaron's instructions are easy to follow and it basically takes you through a full class of basic postures and stretches - great for a novice like me. The DVD editorally achieves representing the relaxed, sensual and calming atmosphere of yoga and is visually appealing. Aaron also points out common errors, helping you get the exercises right. I will definitely buy other volumes in the series. Those who participated should be proud of this production.

I really enjoyed this DVD. The whole concept of nude yoga is pretty cool. It's a great way to get comfortable with your body while keeping it healthy. The video is very nicely shot and everything is explained very clearly. Aaron and his student are all very warm and friendly, not snooty body elitists.
Bottom line: This is a great looking video, the guys are very attractive and the yoga is challenging but achievable.

As far as beginner's yoga instructional DVDs go, it is excellent. It's easy enough for a beginner to understand and follow and goes deep enough that even a seasoned yogi can find unexplored nuances. Also, if you're a bit on the reserved side, like myself, it is an excellent alternative to attending one of these classes. It could even maybe help someone build up the courage to attend one...

After several years of practicing yoga and being disappointed by so many "instructional" yoga DVDs and videos targeted to our specific audience, I am delighted to say that Aaron Star's latest effort is, in a word, amazing. I have purchased and watched the entire set, and with each subsequent viewing, I discover new and wonderful nuances which have profoundly enhanced my own practice. And it certainly doesn't hurt that all the men featured are beautiful, graceful, and the epitome of what I hope to achieve for myself. The filming and editing are first rate, the instruction clear and concise, and the flow and pace of the videos are perfect. I highly recommend these regardless of whether you are new to yoga, or have been practicing for years...there is much here for everyone. Thank you Aaron!

This DVD is a great way to begin your Hot Nude Yoga practice. If you can't get to a class with Aaron this is the next best thing. The routine is a gentle yet still challenging practice. It's a great way to ease into a yoga practice and build up to the other DVDs in the collection; Strength & Partner.

I am a Female Yoga Teacher and I have all four of Aaron Star's DVD's. "Hot Nude Yoga: Virgin" is one of the most inspiring teaching DVD's I have in my collection. Aaron's Teaching Style is easy to follow and understand, even for someone who has never even practiced Yoga in their life. Of course, Practicing Yoga naked, seemed like a bit of a challenge for me, but the whole "Hot Nude Yoga Series" has been done in such excellent taste with extraordinary artfulness that one cannot help but be drawn into the calm, peaceful serenity of the Sessions.

These DVD's are a "must see and do" for anyone interested in furthering their own practice by going deeper into themselves and their bodies.

Aaron Star's Teaching Philosophy is very disciplined and aligns closely with Traditional Hatha Yoga Practice. Aaron brings a new and refreshing insight into various Asanas and most certainly will be hailed as one of the most intriguing Teachers of our time, especially in a day when mediocrity seems to be the standard for a lot of very average and poor quality Teaching Videos which are being produced.

Aaron's style and method is so very accessible to just about anyone, at any level of experience. I've been doing yoga for a number of years and when I'm looking for a light, hour-long routine this is the one I reach for most often.

This is an excellent DVD for both people new to yoga, and experienced people looking for a light routine.

I have greatly enjoyed the whole series of DVDs by Aaron Starr and have found each one to be very helpful, and beautifully and tastefully executed. I have practiced yoga for several years, and am delighted to find an approach geared to the gay male. From beginner to the more advanced with partners, these DVDs will improve your postures, strength, and breathing in a sensual and graceful form.

I have had the pleasure of practicing with Aaron in person only once. He is a wonderful teacher with a true sense of peace, wellness and wholeness that he brings to the class. This is evident in the video. This video, and the others in the set, offer an opportunity to continue my practice until I can be with the class again. While practicing alone with a video isn't quite the same as having student-teacher interaction, this video is he next bext thing to being there!
