Editorial Reviews

Review

A long and deep relationship with a spirit named Aaron...An alternative to the usual scary ghost stories. -- Leelanau Enterprise, August 2006

A very "different" ghost story. Aaron's adventure reminds us of the importance of fulfilling our life's purpose. -- Creations Magazine, April/May 2007

Deals with nearly a century-old death, but is billed as a "true ghost story." -- Times Herald

Dewey encounters the restless spirit of a man named Aaron...and retells his story as "creative nonfiction." -- Fate Magazine, October 2006

Life lessons, redemption and the afterlife: a thought-provoking ghost story told by the ghost himself. -- Light of Consciousness, Winter 2006

From the Publisher

At the time AARON'S CROSSING was written, shows such as "Medium" or "The Ghost Whisperer" were unheard of. Now, the true story of what happened to the author and the story she received from a former ghost are feasible in the eyes of a culture becoming more aware and open to unseen possibilities.

AARON'S CROSSING is significant in that it brings several elements key to existence heretofore deemed "mystical" into the light. Its readers respond daily with emails that tell how this astounding book is affecting their lives.

Aaron's story is every person's story as we struggle to make meaning out of what appears to be chaos. In the end, he reassures us, it will all make sense. This seemingly Pollyanna-ish statement comes from deep learning experienced by a man who, though he did know some happiness in life, suffered severe hardship both during life and afterward. His lessons cannot be missed, and their significance must not to be dismissed.

We are pleased to offer AARON'S CROSSING to a mushrooming readership. --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

5.0 out of 5 stars The first new book I've bought in years, October 20, 2005
This review is from: Aaron's Crossing (Paperback)
When I saw this book in the store I knew I would enjoy it. I couldn't put it down because I had to see what events had shaped Aaron's life preventing him from crossing over, and what prompted him so many years later to follow the author and share his life story with her. There is a lesson to be learned here about how we live our lives, and suffer the consequences of choices made.

What a wonderful book! If you've ever read any Sylvia Browne or "Lilydale", you are aware that "we're not alone" by any means. This book does a great job of helping you understand the concept of the Second Layer. And of course it helps you re-examine your own life & how you look at/react to things....we can't do it alone and it will work out, the way its supposed to. I was torn over this book; I wanted to keep reading straight thru till the end, but I also wanted to savor it & make it last as long as possible! Being originally from Michigan, my girlfriend back home loaned me the book. It was just the icing on the cake that it was set (mostly) in Michigan; it would be wonderful no matter what the setting. I will buy two copies of my own; one to keep for myself and the other to loan out to everybody! You owe it to yourself to buy/read this book!

5.0 out of 5 stars skip the TV shows, get the real story here, September 3, 2006

Homegrown (in Michigan) the true story of a medium's encounter with an earthbound soul, his life's story, and crossing. Many nice pieces of information for those working and sensitive to spiritual energies. A fun read, with good concepts of energy, life and the evolutionary process of our soul
