Aaron's Hair,
By Phyllis Rousseau (Los Angeles, CA USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Aaron's Hair (Hardcover)
The first time I saw this book was when it was told in sign language to a group of deaf children. The narrator was so demonstrative the whole room was in stitches. Then the children acted out the story in sign and it was hilarious. It has become the favorite book of both my 2-year-old and 8-year-old grandchildren. The story of Aaron and his hair is so funny. I have not read a better child's book in my 40 years of reading them...and I have read many.

Aaron's Hair,
By Leanne (Canada) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Aaron's Hair (Paperback)
I have enjoyed several Robert Munsch stories and enjoy them all very much. I love to read them with the children that I care for as well as my own Son. As many of you are aware when reading these stories there is always a key line that the children can remember and share while reading aloud. I was dissapointed however, that the strong line in this story was "Hair! I hate you!" I thought that this is a very negative and strong word to teach young children.

A Breakthrough!,
This review is from: Aaron's Hair (Paperback)
My 11 year old (Special Needs/Massive TBI) grandson & I are reading the book: "Aaron's Hair". It's hysterical. He has never read a book & got the humor till tonight. We laughed till our sides ached, and I had tears. If you have a child between oh I guess 4 & 8 or if a special needs child like my grandson, then up to any age I guess, heck I loved the book too! I'm now... hoping to find books similar to this, Don't know if this one can be topped though...

Aaron's Hair was not a good book.,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Aaron's Hair (Paperback)
The book Aaron's Hair was not a good book, because Aaron's hair cannot jump off Aaron's head. What I didn't like from the book was the last part because Aaron's family grew beards. There was only one good part that I liked. It was when Aaron's mom told him why he was bald. The only character I like is Aaron because he was a little bit funny. I think the illustrations were nice. This book kind of makes me think of my hair too.

The nieces like it more than I do.,
By Ulyyf "Connie" (NYC) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Aaron's Hair (Paperback)
Robert Munsch, for the uninitiated, writes a number of cheerfully absurd books. This one is about a boy who hates his hair, and finds that saying that hurts his hair's feelings so much that it runs away. Sentient hair!
Frankly, I find Aaron running around telling people to tell his hair that they hate it so it'll stop growing on them to be a bit tasteless, but my nieces *adore* this book and ask for it often, so I can overlook that part. If you're concerned about use of the phrase "I hate you" you may wish to read this book before you buy it.

Then he said come back Said Aaron's hair please come back.then the mom said what hapine to your hair said mom you are bold from your hair..then his mom said your sister has your hair . I like the book because it was a good book when we read the book and it was a funny book. End of the story. It was a good book.

I think Aaron's Hair is a really good story. It tells all the details. The funny part was when his mom called Aaron and said, "I found your hair." My favorite character is Aaron's. I love all the pictures. The pictures remind me of when I was little. I am going to remind my family that this is the best book I ever seen.
