The 5.1 DVD sounds fantastic! It's a very full sound and well worth buying. I'm hearing things in the songs I've never heard before. The interview is short but it's recent. They briefly talk about making the album. There is also a photo gallery of the tour book from 1981 which is a nice touch. The distribution of all the remasters is poor. Abacab was the only one in the entire remasters set that this Best Buy had. It was all that was sent to them. Hopefully, the distribution will improve. Again, great sound on this one and I'm sure the others are just as good.

Abacab is Genesis' most pop oriented album, and could almost be described as "new wave" or "modern rock" compared with the groups earlier works. The original albums audio engineering sounded somewhat strident or treble-heavy to me. I bought a Hong Kong import of the cd-dvd in 2007. The sound was regrettable! The Japanese import of the cd-dvd is so superior to the latters release, that their isn't words to desribe the difference. The Amazon seller sent my copy SUPER fast. This Genesis freak is happy again!

This Japanese mini-lp replica version of Genesis Abacab is simply a work of art! Very beautifully designed with all the lyrics included and with a sound quality SACD remastered to perfection.
This is by far the best version of this album that is out there; great sound quality, great packaging, great extra material with videos, making off! A must have in any CD collector's library.

I don't care what any of the prog elitist say this is one of the band's best set of music. There is hardly a bad song on here and I know for one if it wasn't for this CD I might have not become a Genesis fan. Shame on them for ignoring this CD on tour. My other favorites being Duke and ...And Then There Were Three... Great stuff and a good introduction to the more commercial side of Genesis
