The FS repaint from Abacus is advertised as "The easiest way yet to repaint your FSX and FS2004 aircraft. Visualize on screen without having to run Flight Simulator. Built-in tools that make it simple to create your own private liveries". There are pros and cons to the program, so I will start with the cons to end on a high note. The cons... Painting, adding clipart, or otherwise modifying the appearance of the aircraft is a pain. It is difficult cutting and pasting, and basically changing anything on the skin of the aircraft. Example, adding logos to reflect an airlines livery. You will spend many frustrating hours getting the job done. Opening and closing the program as it locks up while trying to change things. No, SIMPLE has nothing to do with it. Adding text is a pain also... For some odd reason letters get cut off and FS paint locks up every time I use the txt tool. The Pros... Seeing what your aircraft looks like as you are modifying it is awesome. It is easy to see and open textures of all the items in the MS FS environment. It would be nice if Abacus made things easier in the program. As for Abacus receiving feedback from its customers, good luck trying to get ahold of them.

I bought this product after trying the free demo. The software is easy to learn, and fun to use. The learning curve is about five minutes. FS Repaint V2 is well worth the money.

I would recommend this product to anyone who owns FSX.
Technical support, (if you need it), is excellent!
The program does everything it promises, and more.
The results are truly amazing! You are limited only by your imagination.
My favorite feature is being able to add my own logos and pictures to my aircraft. If you are looking for a way to enhance your Flight Simulator experience, this is the best thing I've seen in a long , long time. Abacus puts out some great products, and this one ranks among the finest. Great Job, Abacus!
