Appeared perfectly new. Seemed to work perfectly when used to hook up my new Flip MinoHD to my 52in flat screen. Why would anyone pay 10x the amount? Either I'm missing something and the techno-nerds out there are laughing at me...or...everyone at Bestbuy is getting ripped off.

It is hard to understand how Canon can ask $60 for their cable when this one is available for under $4! Both video and impages worked flawlessly when connecting my Canon EOS Rebel T2i to my 50 inch Panasonic HDTV.

I bought this specifically to use with my new Panasonic DMC-ZS3 camera. I read the warning in Panasonic's manual to only use their branded cable, which lists for $49.99, but the price on this generic one was so good I decided to give it a try. It works great! The one I received is the one in the first two pictures on Amazon (oval connector sheaths), not the third picture (squarish sheaths).

This is NOT FOR THE DROID X. If you do a search for "DROID X HDMI CABLE", as I did, Amazon is showing this cable along with a couple of other cables. They need to fix their system and not show this cable as it has a "MINI HDMI" connector on it and the DROID X requires a "MICRO HDMI" connector. Too many connectors and sizes and being new to the phone I failed to do full research on the size required so part of this is my fault for relying on Amazon to have their stuff show up correctly on searches. It does appear to be a well made cable, I just have no use for it. Can't give it a 5 star rating because I have no way to test it but did give them 5 stars for construction quality. Wish I had a way to give Amazon 0-stars for showing this in the wrong search category but will email them to see if they'll fix it :-)

NOT for EVO. Amazon is pairing it with other EVO accesories but it is not the right one!
I guess seller should give Amazon better info and pair it with the proper type. Must be something in description or spec.
Other than that looks very solid. Thick, Stiff, gold coating.... just no use for it.
Make sure to look for the MICRO HDMI instead.

Purchased this for my new Droid X when it came up in a search for accessories. Unfortunately the Droid uses a micro HDMI jack and not a mini like this one. I needed one for my Panasonic camera anyway so I'll just use it with that.

I own a Canon Vixia HF200 camcorder and of course it came without an HDMI interface cable. Canon wanted its usual "arm and a leg" for a cable, so I took a chance on this cable based on others ratings on Amazon. The cable works great!! Maybe I am missing something but the picture quality sure looks great to me. I have since purchase 2 more cables so I can have 2 connected to my TV's and one in the camera bag. I guess it always seems scary when you pay more for the shipping than the product, but the total price for all 3 cables is still a fraction of one Canon cable.

Pretty good mini HDMI to HDMI cable.

Works fine with my HDC-SD60 cam and Sharp 52" LCD.

Through no fault from the seller, I noobed out and ordered this for my HTC EVO and found out that it doesn't fit (you want the Micro-HDMI cable for the EVO, not the Mini-HDMI...I swear these manufacturers do these things on purpose to torture us consumers). But it does happen to fit my dad's camcorder so I gave it to him and it's worked out great so far. The shipping was also fairly quick and I got the cable about a week after I ordered it. I would highly recommend for anyone who needs a Mini-HDMI cable!
