Nice to have,

This review is from: Abalone Book (Paperback)
If it's sheer information you want, you could probably research the abalone yourself and compile the information that is presented in this book. But, someone did it for you. If you love the ocean, the beach, and sea life, it's a good book to have, and to have handy. It isn't just for nature-lovers, unfortunately, since abalones make a tasty, high-protein meal. And since they also are prized for their spectacularly beautiful shells.
The book is not rich in photos. I bought it not to gawk at collections of gorgeous iridescent shells, but for the information within the covers. It's a simple book, an easy book, and it's nice to have it in my beach house library.
