Product Description

What Can FaceAge Do?
FaceAge can add/take away:
1. Age
2. Weight
FaceAge works with Photoshop and Photoshop Elements What Makes FaceAge Different from Other Aging Software? In short - 3D. Aging is a 3D process that cannot be imitated by pushing pixels around. FaceAge uses a 3D mesh that is altered twice:
1. To conform to the character of the photo and
2. To affect the shape changes due to aging, such as the sagging of the cheeks, the changes in jawline, the recession of eyes, etc. These are all genuine "shape" changes that make the aging (or reverse aging) realistic. FaceAge also uses bumpmaps (another 3D process) to imitate wrinkles.
? This plug-in works directly inside Photoshop and Photoshop Elements
? Easy "place-the-dots" interface
? Sliders to add/reduce age, weight
? Video tutorial
? 17-page manual

1.0 out of 5 stars Cannot rate low enough, December 5, 2007
This review is from: Face Age Photoshop Plug-in (CD-ROM)
Beware of reviews by Laslo - as he is one of the producers of Faceshop.

I have found the Poser version of FaceShop to be unstable and terminally unable to operate as described - mirroring in particular produces grotesque mutant heads that are nothing like symmetrical in either geometry or texture.

Support is non-existant :(

5.0 out of 5 stars FaceShop Photoshop Plug-in, January 21, 2008
This review is from: Face Age Photoshop Plug-in (CD-ROM)
At first I had this crash every time it got to the point of applying textures. I then upgraded my Video Card (I went to a 256 ATI RADEON HD 2400 XT). After that I had no more problems with it. I am very happy with this as it will do what it promises. For a program of this price it really does a great deal of work and the better your video card and memory is, the happier you will be with it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Value and Fun!!!!, November 21, 2007

FaceShop has been around for 3D programs like Poser and 3D Studio. It is now also available for Photoshop. It is fun to operate and rotate heads in real 3D. I especially recommend it for CS3 users who can create a 3D head for the 3D layer and manipulate any face, be it a friend or a celebrity.
