Though each tale in this collection of three novelettes set in the Wild West is only two cassettes in length, the stories are thoroughly developed and completely satisfying. "The Gold King Turns His Back" presents a ripsnorter of a father-daughter feud that concludes with a proper twist. "The Three Crosses" features a jokester whose divination by examination of the palm sets one cowboy on a path of reawakening. "The Abandoned Outlaw" examines the enigmatic chemistry of a lifelong rivalry. William Dufris has a voice like the body of Jim Carrey.
