cool book
This photographer is awesome. I've been photographing abandoned buildings for years and I'm very envious of his finds. I like having the book, but some of my favorite photos are on his website and not in the book.

Disappointing
I'm sorry to say that this book was my most disappointing photography book purchase of last year. The titled intrigued but I was honestly surprised that this book got made. Maybe that's why it was published by a lesser know publisher (and also that the photographer is European based). I like the format of the book but the print quality (and paper) is really...

I'm sorry to say that this book was my most disappointing photography book purchase of last year. The titled intrigued but I was honestly surprised that this book got made. Maybe that's why it was published by a lesser know publisher (and also that the photographer is European based).
I like the format of the book but the print quality (and paper) is really poor, especially the lack of rich vibrant dark tones. I don't know where it was printed but would guess it was not in Germany or Italy. The locations are really great but the photos feel poorly composed/exposed and filled with horrible distortions that really distract. It feels more like an urban explorer on location with a camera than a photographer doing some urban exploring. I wish the photographer would have scouted for Bascilio or Polidori to be the photographer of these locations instead.

BOUGHT THIS BOOK OVER A YEAR AGO. THE PHOTOS ARE WONDERFUL! A GREAT GIFT FOR ANYONE WHO LOVES ABANDONED PLACES.IT IS A LITTLE PRICEY, BUT IS WORTH THE COST, ESPECIALLY IF YOU ENJOY BLACK AND WHITE PHOTOGRAPHY! IVE BEEN WAITING FOR ANOTHER BOOK.
