I have listen to almost all the albums of the ABBA group & I found them very attractive.I have also seen the Movie called "ABBA THE MOVIE" & I can assured you that it is more interesting to see.Because you can enjoy movie as well as the songs involved. I am in search of the movie & would like to receive any information on it.

I was an ABBA fan in the 70s and early 80s and bought each album as it came out. For some reason, I drifted away from ABBA after the early 80s. As a result, I turned against all music. There was nothing I liked. I found this compilation in a video store in 1989. I rented it. This was what I had been looking for. I ordered my own copy. I must have watched it 400 times in the succeeding years. Videos like Dancing Queen, Knowing Me Knowing You and Take A Chance On Me really hit the spot. ABBA is fantastic!

Well, movieman... did not let me down! This 1980 video is in excellent condition. I watched it just last Saturday night and it brought back a lot of memories. Sure, I have a copy of "ABBA Gold", but "ABBA Gold" has a "new-mixed" version of the "Dancing Queen" video. This tape has the original verison. If you are an ABBA fan, you'd be as pleased as I am with having acquired this video. Thanks "movieman!" And thank you Amazon for getting the pre-order for me.

Title is misleading because it is really a history of the group with only tantilizing snipets of their music, more torture than pleasure.
